Since you're here you either got into the guild somehow in AoC and read the message of the day, stumbled here via some AoC related website, or are just some poor unfortunate soul with simply put nothing better to do. Regardless, welcome.

About Shadow (aka. Mission Statement) - Who we is! Ok, but really now, who are we really??? Well... here's the skinny, we're a bunch of people playing Age of Conan (way to state the obvious), on the Aquilonia RP-PVP server over here in Europe, with the goal to have fun, and help each other out be in questing, crafting, what have you. But more importantly we are the premier Assassins guild on the server. What this means is the following - that if you a client or anyone requires that pesky neighbour's throat cut, or should someone's mother in law be so irritating that they just can't take it any more, they call Shadow, and remove whatever problem may be bothering the client. Additional fees and charges for the hunt of other players may apply. Shadow is not responsible for any retribution incurred on you by the future respawned and assassinated third party

But besides all that wonderful murderous assassination, what we try and facilitate is fun, co-operation, and teamwork.

Who is Shadow - a.k.a Members of the Shadow Guild (a.k.a Vision Statement) Anyone who meets the above requirements and is normal – to a degree. With that, we're trying to exclude the amazingly annoying immature person - mostly because those types of people tend to be amazingly annoying and immature - and well, then that's just no fun for anyone. We also stay away from gankers, they give us a bad name, and vampires, absolutely no vampires in the guild (though this could change in the future).

Howsabout the Recruitment and Growth of Shadow (and rules of conduct too….) First things first, we need to grow, to achieve this we plan on growing virally, and organically. Huh!?Virally – Meaning, all those wonderful people that you go around slaughtering bandits, alligators, etc... with in groups are possible Shadow members – if you like them, we’ll probably like them. So invite them, or send a /tell or mail to Weaver, Flath, or Iker (more names coming soon) and we’ll get them into the guild all proper like. And remember The more members we have, the faster we will grow, and the more people we invite, the more people we will be able to cause severe ass whuppage with. Organically – So what about the organic part? Well, ok, so we may not be 99.99% pesticide free, but those individuals who will not want to be in Shadow will simply leave, and the immatures - well, there's a reason why we're an assassins guild. ;)

Why Call it "Shadow"? Because Shadow suits well with an assassin type guild and "Pink Fuzzy Bunny Slippers" was already taken. Thrilling, I know.

Who we are not* We are not a Hedgehog who has recently become the hero of his own video game on some console system or other. Nor are we the eve online corporation that has also decided to copy our super cool name "albeit before we existed" - Fascists. ;)

What is and what will be? Well, we have a keep, and we have a whachamacallit, a wall, and we're gathering resources and gold for the rest of the wonderful things to stick into our village. As for what will be. Well that all depends on us now doesn't it.
